Hi there! Aquí una maña de Aragón, viviendo y dibujando en Londres.
Me he pasado la vida escribiendo historias y dibujando cómics por todos los papeles y los libros que han caído en mis manos. Y paredes. Y suelos. Me licencié en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Barcelona. Me especialicé en Imagen. Pasé de la animación tradicional en 2D al 3D en el ordenador, y estudié durante tres años CGI, Animación 3D y VFX. Me uní a un grupo de artistas visuales nómadas que se cruzaron por mi camino, y entre mudanza y mudanza volví a retomar el dibujo.

Estoy interesada en la Medicina Gráfica y Patografía Gráfica. El cómic tiene una gran capacidad para humanizar y mostrar las enfermedades a los profesionales de la salud desde el punto de vista del paciente o de la familia, y mejorar el cuidado y la atención médica.  Es un gran medio de divulgación y educación y puede ayudar a otros pacientes a conocer mejor su enfermedad.

Hi there! My name is Montse and I am a spanish woman from the north of the iberian peninsula, living and drawing in London.
I have been writing stories and drawing comics on all the papers and books (and walls, and floors) around me since I was a little child. I studied Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona. I studied CGI, 3D Animation and VFX for three years. Then I joined a team of vissual artist who lived a nomad life, and started to draw again.

I am really interested in Graphic Medicine and Graphic Pathography. I love comics for their capacity to allow health care providers to see things from the patient or family’s point of view and enhancing patient care. This illustrations are a great tool to promote public awareness about disease and can help patients to learn about their illness.
